In light of the restrictions and challenges imposed upon us by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Bridges 2021 will once again be held online. We plan to offer a 2021 virtual conference that includes more live presentations, shared events, and social interaction than we did in 2020. Please check the 2021 page regularly for updates on the conference, and watch the mailing list for announcements.
The Bridges conference includes a gallery exhibition of 2D and 3D mathematical art, ranging from computer graphics to quilts to geometrical sculptures. All submitted artwork will undergo a refereeing process. This year there is a limit of one submission per artist, with no size limit. Images of accepted artworks will also be published in the conference art catalog.
In addition to the gallery exhibition there will be tables for informal (not refereed) display of art in the lobby.
The submission website for 2021 will open in early 2021. You will be able to submit your work at http://gallery. bridgesmathart.org. Log in with an existing account or create a new account. Click on the link “Art Exhibit Submission Instructions” for detailed information about submissions and the exhibition.
